Exemple : International Marketing Strategy (Semester 1 Core Module) Module Learning Outcomes

On completion of this module the student should be able to:

1. Understand the principles of marketing within the constantly changing international environment.
2. Demonstrate knowledge of marketing concepts and approaches in practice.
3. Analyse a range of examples demonstrating innovative marketing approaches used by various types of international organisations.
4. Analyse advantages and limitations of the main marketing theoretical concepts and be able to apply them to scenarios in current marketing cases.
5. Demonstrate awareness of organisations’ performance in the context of marketing;
6. Compare best practices and marketing failures.
7. Present marketing theories and practices in a coherent manner by demonstrating quality and clarity of expression, use of appropriate terminology and secondary data to illustrate, or support, arguments.
8. Use ICT skills to produce material in an agreed format.

Requirements

• 120 ECTS (2 years after « Baccalauréat » or « Abitur » « A-level ») to be entitled to apply through the admission process.
• BTS, DUT, DEUG (L2), Prépa.
• You need to master the English language.

Required English level

• For students with a « BTS » in France : you need to get a final grade of 13/20 in English in the official exams, whatever the speciality.
• For students with a « BTS » in Luxembourg : a grade average of 11-13/20 in English and 13/20 in the official exams, whatever the speciality.
• If over your two years of study, you have a grade average of 11-13/20 but you do not achieve a grade of 13/20, you can still justify your level through an official test.

For other students with 120 ECTS

Coventry University requires the validation of one of the following official English tests: TOEIC, TOEFL, IELTS… English Level : Minimum score

• TOEIC : 650
• Cambridge Exam : B2-CAE

Admission procedure

• Fill in the application form.
• Write a cover letter in English outlining your motivations.
• Provide your CV in English.
• Provide your transcripts for year 1 and 2 of the BTS/DUT/Prépa/Other.
• A 30 minute interview in English with the programme coordinator to validate your application (at the school or via Zoom or Whatsapp).

What does it cost and how to finance your investment

Annual tuition fees 2022-2023: 5 500 € (Coventry University fees + courses + access to pedagogical platform & e-resources).

Down-payment of 1 500 Euros to confirm your registration before the programme starts. The school offers the opportunity to stagger the payments of the balance outstanding (4 000 euros) until the final assignment submissions in May or June. The BA (Hons) programmes are eligible for grants/scholarships (“bourses”) in France and in Luxembourg.
